Civil War Living History

Friday, May 1, 2026 – Saturday, May 2, 2026 - 9am-5pm

Kenlake State Resort Park, 100 Tennis Court Road, Aurora, Benton

Civil War Living history days will begin at 9:00 am camps will open and be open until 5:00 pm. We will have camps set up with stations for students to stop, see, and interact with in period time. There will be Soldiers, Artillery firing, a field Surgeon, and other setups to relive history. There will be 1860's games for the students (and Adults) to participate in and learn how they lived and played. We will have period Music on the grounds also.<br><br>

On Saturday night May 2 at 6:00pm we will have a Historical ghost walk, this is a tour around the grounds where we have historical people from around the area to tell you the history of their life in first person, a lot of history about the area and people you still hear of now. We set this up as a Portal to teach school children and home school students. Please come see us.
