GOLDEN POND PLANETARIUM
Under the Stars... and Planets!
The Golden Pond Planetarium offers a break from the outdoors with a focused look at the night sky and space science. Located next to the Golden Pond Visitor Center, it is an easy stop to pair with other attractions in the central part of LBL.
Inside the dome theater, visitors can watch guided star shows that highlight constellations, planets, and seasonal night sky features. Programs are led by knowledgeable presenters rather than pre-recorded narration, which keeps each show flexible and engaging.
In addition to astronomy, some programs explore broader science topics tied to space, time, and natural phenomena. The schedule changes throughout the year, so offerings can vary depending on the season and staffing.
