It’s summer, the days are long, hot and humid. How did people in the 1850’s stay cool and still manage to accomplish their daily farm tasks? Come out and learn about how farm life revolved around simple tricks and methods of cooling off so farmers could avoid over heating in the hot summer sun. Sample some lemon aid or Switchel. The 19th century form of sports drink to rehydrate during long hot days in the sunshine.
