Homeplace Working Farm, 4512 The Trace, Dover, LBL
In the 1850s, leather was a staple good that was used to make sturdy shoes, saddles, bags, and even hinges on your windows in a pinch. Although leather can last a very long time, it still occasionally needs to be replaced, maintained, repaired – or even turned into something to sell. Come out and learn about leatherworking here on the farm.
