The Lakes That Give Us Our Name
Water defines the Land Between the Lakes experience. Kentucky Lake and Lake Barkley form the borders of LBL and offer miles of open water for boating, fishing, paddling, and shoreline exploring. Beyond the two main lakes, several smaller lakes tucked inside the recreation area provide quieter settings for swimming, kayaking, and relaxing away from the crowds. Together, these seven lakes offer a wide range of ways to enjoy the water, from big lake adventures to peaceful, tucked-away spots.
